Our goal at Texas Fleet Fuel is to prevent fuel theft from happening through better card controls, better reporting and a hands-on approach to helping businesses save money on fuel.

Most companies utilizing credit card and “fleet” cards today do not have fuel management. What they have is an easy way to charge fuel and an even easier way for employees to steal as these programs provide minimal card control and very little useful information. Store clerks are able to charge food and extras as fuel purchases, cards do not have gallon limits or odometer reading entry for tracking miles per gallon between fill-ups. Worst of all, most companies provide a monthly statement of transactions which is extremely tedious and time consuming to audit. So guess what happens? The company doesn’t audit the monthly multi-page statement and all the fuel charges, including the theft transactions get paid.
